Minnesota Children’s Museum
Delve into the exciting world of the Minnesota Children’s Museum where you and your youngsters can explore the museum’s unique exhibits, such as Earth World, Habitot®, Our World, Rooftop ArtPark, World Works and visiting exhibits.
The Children’s Museum Minnesota allows children to have a “hands-on” experience, making science, art, literature and history fun and exciting! At the World Works gallery, visitors may experiment with real-world problems, such as determining the most efficient way to move packages with the help of inclined planes and conveyor belts. In Our World, children get to do the work of grown-ups, such as delivering mail or preparing a meal. While visiting the Earth World gallery youngsters may explore three different types of habitats found in Minnesota: forests, prairies and wetlands. The youngest visitors to the Minnesota Children's Museum, those ages six months to four years, will enjoy the Habitot® gallery, where they, too, can explore the habitats of Minnesota.
The Children’s Museum of Minnesota is one of the largest children’s museums in the U.S., offering several permanent and traveling exhibits as well as the Rooftop ArtPark. Here your kiddos can climb a tree fort, make sand sculptures and enjoy the warmer weather. The Children’s Museum of Minnesota also special programs, birthday parties, summer camps, workshops and field trips.
