Taste of Minnesota will return to downtown Minneapolis this year, with countless food samples, live music and entertainment, and features by local artists planned on July 6 and 7. You can also start your day off with one of the longest running parades in Minnesota, Saint Paul's 4th in the Park community celebration, or enjoy Minneapolis' Red, White, and Boom fireworks show along the Mississippi River! Then enjoy carnivals, music, food, parades, entertainment, and games from Shakopee to Stillwater and every city in between. If you’re feeling extra patriotic, celebrate at Historic Fort Snelling and witness a mock battle, fife & drum music, and cannons galore.

Sports fanatics have the opportunity to support some of their favorite Minnesota teams throughout the whole week of 4th of July: Minnesota United F.C., the Saint Paul Saints, the Minnesota Lynx, and the Minnesota Twins are all in town, with the Saint Paul Saints planning a special fireworks show.
If arts and culture is more your style, catch Little Shop of Horrors at the Guthrie Theater. Internal Affairs will also be open for guests at the Bloomington Center for the Arts. Niall Horan is visiting Xcel Energy Center in downtown Saint Paul on July 7, and Sister Hazel and Fastball are featured at Mystic Lake Casino’s Rock and Rockets on the 4th of July, which also includes food trucks and fireworks. In nearby Chanhassen, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical continues its successful run at the iconic Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and closer to home, comedian Adrian Washington will perform back-to-back shows at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy at Mall of America.
